* Kim Kardashian. She's a media hog for all the wrong reasons.

* Jennifer Lopez. Why is she only in movies with white dudes as love interests? WEIRD.

* KeKe Palmer. I don't think I'd be into her work if she wasn't Black. Now, I'm a kid at heart (people know this) and I like kid stuff, but I don't think I'd be into her work even if I was at the age her programs are meant for. She's LAME to me.

* Seal. For what reason is he popular? He can't sing for sh*t. Is he popular because he has a bad wife? Beats the hell out of me. He just needs to stay on my $1 lottery ticket... for whatever reason he's on there...

* Al Roker. He looks like a bald Charlie Wilson and he's super annoying. Now Charlie Wilson is that n*gga. I'm young and he's jamming for real, but this n*gga Al Roker is SUPER LAME! I mean, big props for being the big dude on the Today Show, but he's super annoying with his "burn rubber" lookin' azz. Ol' "early in morning" lookin' azz... He needs to get some weight on him with all that skin hanging off his neck. Ugh...

* Chris Tucker. He only makes one kind of movie when he should make more. WEIRD.

My Super Bowl XLIV (44) Thoughts

* The Saints won by luck. The Colts were the best team this season.
* The Saints won by luck. I had to say that twice.
* The Saints gambled and, in my opinion, made dumb decisions during the Super Bowl. They kicked an onside kick before the fourth quarter and they went for that 2-point conversion early in the game. Teams don't usually win games making decisions like that.
* The Colts don't have anything to feel disappointed about. They played their best because they are the best. Games like this make me think that Super Bowls should be played best out of seven games like the NBA. The Saints really got by in this game.

I'm glad I got to see a Saints game sometime last year. They won that day too.

Put Kraven in SPIDERMAN 4!

I been hearing some talk about SPIDERMAN 4 and it looks as if this new movie will set Peter Parker back in high school according to this article here.

I don't like that idea. It's too soon for that kind of movie (like a re-boot of the franchise). I think they should keep Maguire, Raimi, and Dunst!
They should also put Spiderman against Kraven the Hunter and take the setting out of New York and into the jungle :monkey noise: (or wherever Kraven is from). I'm not that much of a comic book geek. I just know he hunts.
All those skyscrapers in the Spiderman movies get boring after a while. Since the show, LOST, is so popular Parker should battle Kraven in that type of setting (or wherever he's from). Somebody please tell me where Kraven is from?!

Kraven is the guy in the guy in the middle if you're not into comics...

Now that'll be a damn good movie. It would sure make me interested in Spiderman again after how bad the 3rd movie was!

If you don't know already, Jessica AKA Miss Rabbit is a cute model that is known nationwide. I know her from the HOUSTON sneaker shows where she was hired to model.

Here's an old video of MINE featuring Miss Rabbit that I dug up to show you where I come from. I'm in Cali now, but I have so much history and did SO MUCH work in HOUSTON. I remember making this a long time ago when I began editing movies. :)

Miss Rabbit is also in the video for "Vegas Baby" with Jermaine Dupri, Trey Songz, Nelly, and B. Cox. It's cool. I'm NOT in the music business, though... I just like how Miss Rabbit is in the video modeling and the song isn't so bad, either.

Did you know that a particular fast food restaurant was giving out free burgers this Tuesday just for wearing a specific color? I'm not telling any names because there are such things as legal ramifications, but here's a pic and the receipt for proof.

That was all for free and all for me!

And man, look at my black watch that talks. I wish I had a G-Shock that talked. That would be cool as hell. I know that's a tad bit random, but I had to say it. A talking G-Shock would GO SO HARD!

Then another restaurant I went to had a really good coupon for the chicken meal pictured below ALL FOR $1. Yes, it was that cheap and it was very good. Look at the size of that chicken! That's steroid Berry Bonds chicken right there (I'm not saying that he took the steroids, but everyone knows about that n*gga's issues). Berry Bond's is cool with me, though. I met him one time and he was a good guy.

I've been checking out Beyonce's status lately. Here's some facts I just thought I'd put out there....
- Her 3rd album is a double album in a recession with 11 SONGS! Captain Planet said that's bad for the environment. CDs are 80 minutes long and her album is not that long.
- "Sweet Dreams" is not a single (I don't think that instrumental and the masculine voice is for radio, yo!)
- Then she puts out that song at the end of OBSESSED that didn't fit the movie that well.

Does this mean that she doesn't care about her fans as much as she says? I hope not because she has good history in HOUSTON.

Studying and studying. I haven't had so much time to blog because of my classes, but it's worth it.

With my screenplay, I've sent my query letter off to two agencies. The APA Talent and Literary Agency and Affinity Talent Agency. The APA and Affinity has such talent as Charlie Murphy, Bruce Bruce, and Robert Townsend. That's right in my screenplay's field. I hope to hear back from them soon. Speaking of Robert Townsend, I was a big fan of METEOR MAN when I was little and I checked up on its gross on the internet lately. It only made about 8 million dollars domestically. That shocked the hell out of me because I remember a lot of my peers and people I knew around that time went to see that movie. My dad took me to that movie. I had a comic book from that movie. My grade school friends used to joke about that movie and it only made 8 million dollars at the time. Wow!
The other company I sent my query letter to was the Affinity Talent Agency. They've represented movies like AMERICA PIE 2, MAMMA MIA, and The SIMPSON'S MOVIE.
In addition to this news, I'd like to announce that I'd like LeBron James, 50 Cent, and Soulja Boy to star in this movie. That's the kind of screenplay I'm talking about, y'all! I hope it gets me more work in addition to my marketing. I really like writing now. I also looking for a mentor since I'm writing, so if you'd like to help me, let's talk.

In promotions news, if you see me around HOUSTON don't hesitate to ask me for a free FADER magazine. I used to promote for the company that owns that magazine. If you don't want one I'll understand.

I literally am. During my busy-ness I listen to music and watch movies. I came across this one song and found the video for it. It's Tom Petty's "Don't Come Around Here No More". I thought it was interesting because Disney has a new ALICE IN WONDERLAND movie coming out with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton directing it. This video below has some Alice influences. Check it out. I really like the beat.
About this new ALICE IN WONDERLAND, though, it may be like RETURN TO OZ (1985). I saw that when I was about 5 or 6 at a nanny's house. She sure used to show some crazy movies. That's still cool. She was also the first to show me THE LAST DRAGON. Sho-nuff!

Barack Obama and my dress style
About two weeks ago, I saw President Barack Obama giving a speech wearing the same thing I am wearing in this picture here.

He must've seen my MySpace or something. I did send him a letter earlier this year about Mrs. Obama's $5oo sneakers. I'm still waiting on my response, but all is good. Keep doing your job, President Obama and I'll continue looking for one. Geesh! Also, good work on giving moms scholarships to return to school.

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Is it wrong that I'm expecting Arnold S. to come out in full Command/Predator garb and stop those fires going on in California. I know it's serious, but he is the Last Action Hero, right? My thoughts and prayers do go out to those involved in that fire.

Also, has anyone else heard about THE EXPENDABLES. It's supposed to be a movie with Sly Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Look here! Is this a dream movie or a rumor?

Sick, Sad World
If someone can figure out where the title of this particular Free Thought comes from, I'll ship you a FREE magazine when I get my check in. In other news, everyday I see some wild and sad news. I saw an article about two people with the same names getting married, a story about a man who stole his date's car on their first date, and the story about the sick man who held a girl in his backyard for eight-teen years blows my mind.

This man or woman is funny! This is wild! Crazy and wild! When things like this happen that really makes me question whether God exists or not. Some things just shouldn't be or get as much attention as they do. Apparently, he/she is fast and hell and now the official people want some kind of test to see what this person's gender is. It turns out that this person is really intersex (meaning hermaphrodite). This sounds like an episode of the Jerry Springer show!

Ellen Degeneres is a new host on American Idol
Who’s surprised? I’m not. Who could be? A good number of the men that audition for the show are gay or very feminine. You could argue that she doesn’t know anything about music. You can also argue that she can’t dance at all. I see she does that funny white girl dances she does. I don’t think it’s a big deal to have her on the show. Gays are getting married so why not?

Facebook and Twitter are attacked by hackers

More than a month ago Facebook and Twitter were attacked by hackers and the sites above were down for about a day. I don't know how long because it's not that important now. All I do know is that the hackers probably just needed a good job like me to stay busy. God knows we all need a little more money during these times. Last weekend, I handled some important business. I got out into Downtown HOUSTON to meet up with Reebok since they endorse B.O.B. It's funny because I wanted to promote his campaign in HOUSTON, but I never got the chance. I hope that comes around again.

I did end up meeting Kid Cudi's crew and I got this picture of the man himself.

I actually bought Kanye's 808S & HEARTBREAK based on the song he was on, "Welcome To Heartbreak". I'll show it to you if you don't believe me. I know what real music is! I also liked the dance version of "Day and Night". Also, the way this guy and Kanye acted and danced in the "Welcome To Heartbreak" video was cool as hell. This Jordin Sparks album cover looks just like this assignment I did in 8th grade for a science class or something. Anyway, I drew a VERY similar picture and I got an A- on it or a B. I just remember it was way less than what I deserved because I was mad. I still followed the directions, but this stupid teacher thought I didn't follow the directions "perfectly".
This just goes to show how I can probably design album covers and I never thought about this before. Keep in mind that this was in 8th grade.

Palin, Palin, Palin...She never stood a chance. During the presidential campaign my focus was on her looks than on the controversy with her daughter. Everyone knows she had a daughter that was pregnant in high school. That was a no-brainer that McCain couldn't beat Obama for the presidential seat. They might as well had given up then.

Beyonce gave a fantastic performance like she's known to do.

One thing I want to know is what's up with that granny panty outfit she wore doing those slow songs? I can't believe that it makes her look twice her age when she's in that.

This was the granny panty moment. She's officially a grown woman. Do your thing, Beyonce. Hahaha!

All in all, there was a true party at the Toyota Center on July 4. I especially enjoyed the part where she sung for the Obamas.

Michael Jackson: A Life Remembered

I really think Michael Jackson left this world too soon. That's the kind of guy that I wouldn't want to see die. What I mean is that if I live to be a 64-year-old man, I would still want to see a person like Michael Jackson still living. He influenced and touched the lives of so many people in the world. He's a GLOBAL ICON. Everyone knows him. I bet your two year old cousin knows what the Moonwalk is. They had to be born somewhere in 2007 and just somehow seen Michael Jackson moonwalk sometime in their little lives. I guess you can call it magic, but a realistic magic. Someone like him isn't born everyday (or not at all) who has all this talent, drama, success, wealth, and spontaneity like he has. Being the kind of lively man I am, I could never imagine living a day in Michael Jackson's shoes. It has to be stupendous.

I first became a Michael Jackson fan when he released BAD and the movie, MOONWALKER, in 1988. I used to literally dance just like I saw him do on TV and act out scenes to that movie. My family used to tease me so much on how I so much into that album. The movie, not to mention, was on some TRANSFORMERS, CLASH OF THE TITANS, STAR WARS type of thing. It was a good movie and truly ahead of its time. I even had the game on Sega Genesis and I used to play the hell out of it. That's what I mean when I say Michael Jackson had all of this talent and crossing all of these boundaries.

That's all I can say, now. I am truly shocked. I still don’t want this news to be true.

But what's up with that interview, though. This looks like a Rhi-Rhi and CB (Rhianna and Chris Brown) situation. This looks like a crazy turnaround in 2009.

Not to mention, Mary J. Blige's "Not Gon' Cry" was a major hit from the soundtrack of Waiting to Exhale and here I'm mentioning her daughter right now. What's that? I think that's cool.

UPDATE
I promote, promote, and more. Sometimes I wonder what I do it for. It's because I really like what I do. I drive long distances to events, hot spots, clubs, and the such to aware the public of what I'm promoting. Maybe you've seen me hand out a flyer or put up a poster along Main Street or somewhere in HOUSTON. I tend to make myself known. Anyway, I tend to think what this life is really about. I see myself as being blessed and having "hard times".

What I mean is that my job requires that I go to certain malls in HOUSTON and check to see if stores are compliant or not. There's no specific time I have to be there so I can pretty much wake up whenever I want, but I have to be early. I just have to have my reports to the company by the deadline. That's cool. In addition, I also get shoes and clothes to wear into the field (the field describes where I work in the marketing industry).

Anyway, it can be a pain sometimes (what I mean by hard times) because the way I turn in reports is totally by the internet and that's not always reliable. The modem could go wrong and it can slow down the timing when I enter the reports. Also, when doing a job like this, you have to manage your money well. What I mean is the job I do requires that I use my own car. When I go to these different mall locations I have to factor in my own gas until I have received my reimbursement from the company. Then I have to handle some of the store manager's uncooperative attitudes or them trying to slip things by me when they think I'm not paying attention. That's not particularly hard, but it's annoying because I'm only in the store for about 20 minutes at max for the time being and I think they could exercise more patience since they don't have to deal with me on a day to day basis.

Then there's how the promotions part of my job keeps me out late hours. When I worked the field campaign for Reebok Classic Remix I would sometimes be out in the field handing out flyers until 3am! What's the result? I ended up meeting some of the most successful people in entertainment and valuable tastemakers like Manny Fresh and John Singleton. In addition, I was able to promote at the best parties and really reach that core demographic. This took a lot of my time so I had to step back a little and focus on the other side of my job, the compliance and heading Soul Phunk. That puts me in touch with the need to know people in HOUSTON like Jim McIngvale and others. I can't think of the others at this moment, but I've met some. Just check the archive of the blog. Either way, it is good and fun work. I like what I do.

Starting off, HOUSTON’s own Beyonce has a mechanical glove in her "Single Ladies" video. This reminds me of the glove Michael Jackson wore during the Thriller album. Wait until the end to see what I’m talking about. This is a good video and she reps HOUSTON well.

Q-Tip’s video for “Move” pays homage to “Rock with You” and does it perfectly. This is that video here.

Then it all goes up from there. I saw that Mr. Brown dude from Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns do the MJ kick and crotch grap.
Then, I was in Buffalo Wild Wings and I saw this girl with an 80s jacket very similar to the one MJ wore in his "Beat It" video.

Man, I even saw this dude in a band jacket similar to the picture below. He also wore a brim hat too (this was similar to the one Justin Timberlake wore when he started his solo career and was like Mic Jack)!

I was like, “It’s like that?”.
(Looking at this pic, I see why Michael had to get the mullet when he got lighter.)

Way before then I saw this Ryan Leslie video with him doing a dance that was very MJ-esque. That starts at 00:14. That link is here.

Am I off for seeing this in today’s world and media? I think I’m onto something…
On another note, Mic Jack really needs Quincy Jones back on any future albums he puts out. After Bad, I don’t think there are anymore GREAT classics to hear from him. What happened between those two anyway?

Also, why is "They Don't Care About Us" a hit in urban clubs and hangouts? I can't figure this out because it comes on in between Frankie Beverly and Maze hits and other traditional R&B hits. It's a song about being oppressed. I don't get it yet.

Dude, writing this...I think I could rework Mike's whole image and get this man back to ultra platinum status again.

What's with the Michael Jackson styles and flavor happening right now? It's like a resurgence of sorts.

I'll post more examples later, but it's like a trend that came out of nowhere....

Also, because I'm really into my childhood for some odd reason (don't ask), an old friend I had when I was younger used to have an autographed picture of Michael Jackson hung up in his room with a thump tack or something like that.
I thought that was so lame and cool at the same time. It's still Mic Jack, but it's hung up with a thumb tack. What's that?

Who Really Cares About the Music?
Nearly everywhere I go I hear the same songs. I constantly hear "Margaritaville" by Jimmy Buffet, "Barracuda" by Heart, "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder, "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynard Skynard, "The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band and any random Journey hit! I remember hearing "Don't Stop Believin' " about 5 times one day. What is that? I listen to the local oldies station and they play those songs constantly, but I also hear those songs I mentioned above in more settings than one (parties, elevators, offices, etc.). That could mean one or two things to me. Either these songs were MASSIVE hits before my birth or no one really cares to listen to anything different. I've never once heard anybody mention Shuggie Otis, David Axelrod, Ace Spectrum, or DeDe Warwick outside of when I was a producer in the music industry a long while back. WOW! That really throws me for a loop.

Reportedly, HOUSTON Rockets forward Carl Landry was shot in the leg after his team's victory against the New Orleans Hornets.
The story goes that at about 2:30am that Tuesday morning a car swerved into his sports utility vehicle and both vehicles collided again while they were making U-Turns. He was unfortunately shot in the left calf thereafter.
He is expected to miss one to three weeks. That's not so bad. I hope he's doing better now.

Personally, I don't feel affected by a recession.
Everyone’s freakin’ the hell out about some type of recession, or economic crisis, or something. People are acting like it’s The Great Depression and everyone’s staning in long chow lines in the city with ultra sad faces. Man, the way some people are wilin' I feel like I'm living my 3rd grade history lesson.

I, myself, don’t feel too many effects of the recession since I manage my money well. I’ve found plenty of deals and interesting ways to save my money here in HOUSTON that you may want use yourself.

Casa Ole – If you go to Casa Ole for their Rita, you’ll get more than just a wobbly drive home. You’ll get a bomb azz bargain and chips/salsa to go with it. Just look at this now.

This is the aftermath! I did some SERIOUS damage.

I ate the lime out that thang right there, cheif. As a matter of fact, I’m writing this post sooo0 relaxed and it’s been about 30 minutes since I finished it.

Just to show how far I am ahead of you guys, I was up on this back in June when they had this deal in Webster, TX. I felt bad then, for accepting something so good that was so damn FREE. Now I don’t! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! I was so clueless as to why no one else was asking for their free drinks that day too. I think I found the cosmic key baby!

Not only that, do you remember when Denny’s gave out that free Grand Slam the day after the Super Bowl? I was there…at 3 LOCATIONS! Yes, 3 buttery breakfastes were all mines to have.

Relationships are weird to me. The reason? I swear some women can be some of the stupidest creatures on the planet. I'm just a man like any other man, but I've seen a lot of things. Well, take me for example. Haha...
I was throwed off as ever about a year and half ago. I just wasn't right in my life and was not focused on much at all. That was when girls was called me the most and added me to their MySpace. These ain't no nickel chicks I'm talking about either. These were certified dimes. All I can say is that I was definitely getting more play than I am currently.
Now, I'm doing better in my life. I'm enrolled in a better school and I don't get nearly as much play from women as when I was unfocused a year and half ago.
It really makes me think what women are attracted to. Is it wealth? Looks? Status? Popularity? Simple craziness? I have no clue whatsoever right now.
I have another example of how women are throwed off. I roomed with this guy for a week. He was a handsome dude (I ain't gay. I'm just saying.) He and I shared a lot in common. He also had a kid. That means he's not going to spend and focus time on you (girls) as much as single guy like me would. (That makes me think...Do women want to be cared about at all?)
This n*gga's phone rang 90 ways till Sunday (the day we got ready to leave). I was blown away! I had never seen someone's phone ring that much.
So, whenever your girl tells you that she's busy, DON'T believe her! She's just calling a n*gga just like the one I roomed with instead of you, homie. That's for serious. Believe me.

I don't know what it is. I've been around so long in HOUSTON (two and a half years) promoting, videotaping, and snappin' the scene with my camera for a while now and my business is not doing what I expected it to.
I look at videos on TV and I see things in my city that I could easily be a part of all of the time.

This one time, I did this commercial advertising my 30 and 60 second ads.

That was inspired from HOUSTON's own Mattress Mack of Gallery Furniture...

and this Steve Ballmer video advertising Windows.

On the billionaire note, though, (like Steve Ballmer is) his once supervisor Bill Gates put live mosquitoes into the audience at this TED seminar where he talked about his concern for malaria. In it, he mentioned that the use of bed nets to cover the mother and child while they're sleep would decrease the outbreak by 50%.
THAT'S NOTHING!
I went through so many bed nets (we called them mosquito nets) on camping trips when I was a Boy Scout that you wouldn't believe. Yeah, they helped at night but during the day you HAD to use repellent to fight off those things and that only helped some. Then you could never be completely clean because you had to spray on more after you took a shower.
Thank heaven they came up with the lotion/sunblock repellent or else your skin was DONE SON!
I do hope those suffering of malaria can get better.
(I just thought I'd add that since I've been around so long.)

Then, just recently I saw a video by a singing group with street dancers in it and it was reminiscent of this video I made last year.

Doesn't that remind you of this Mary Mary video?

As for work, I would prefer the steady job so I could have more of a balanced schedule but the extra income from my business would be okay too.

I always knew Mr. Obama would be President of the United States. I guess you could call it a third eye sense or something like that. I could see it way before he became the President-elect in November.
Man, I even saw that when I caught these occurences out in the world.

First, I saw how light skinned black dudes started making a huge recurrence on TV. Here's this one clip I caught from the Steve Harvey show. That light skinned dude plays all these supporting characters on TV shows and looks like the Obama typical dude.

I also spotted these Obama cards upon Hillary Clinton's bow out of the Presidential election. Obama was on a roll then and I was quick to realize I needed to capture this moment with my camera. Click here for the original post.

During the Christmas break, I took some time off from my internet pillaging and went to the movie theater. I decided to see Seven Pounds by Will Smith since the man has been making some major inspiring movies that I'm liking at this moment.

Well, anyway, I saw the movie and it was...eh...not cool, not tight, and non-refundable.

In this film, Will Smith (playing Ben Thomas) stretches his acting muscle to play a crazed psychopath/good Samaritan. During the movie, the audience knows that he's on some kind of mission to find the perfect and right people to receive his gifts and good favor. We also know that he has some skeletons in his closet that drives him to be the way that he is. It's so mysterious the way the movie is handled.
The ending is so off too.
Highlight the below sentence if you want a tiny spoiler.
Who would ever take their lives the way he did?

I don't want to give too much away because it does sort of play into the movie, but it's just weird. Smith seems to be releasing more movies with twist endings. Hancock was the first I noticed and this is the second.
I was indifferent to this film because it was bland and it makes you think too much. The length doesn't help, either (It clocked in at 2 hours). I could understand if it was long and entertaining but this was totally not the case. This is the kind of movie you would have to see more than twice to get the big picture. The creative way it was edited was nice, I admit (since I do film editing), but the story didn't attract me at all.
And I ask you this? What the hell was that song and dance Rosario Dawson's character did when she and Ben were on that date? I laughed so hard at that part! I really did! I credit Dawson for making this movie somewhat watchable with her being so easy on the eyes. I picked up Clerks 2 after seeing this flick because of that reason.

In conclusion, I expected something better coming from the same director who did The Pursuit of Happyness, Gabriele Muccino. It seems that Smith and Muccino are forming some type of Tim Burton/Johnny Depp partnership. I just hope this team can come up with a little better of a product the next time they collaborate.

I was just out Christmas shopping and I ran into HOUSTON's Fox news anchor Melinda Spaulding who gave me some quick advice on my videography. I talked to her about this one special project I've been working on for quite a while. It's like a follow-up of sorts. I don't want to say what it is yet, but you'll see if it comes out right.
She recommended that I just put me videos on the web and that's about it. I mean, I already knew how to do that, but I was looking for a little paper, some major business, and a little publicity for the project.

I told him I was a Cornerstone Rep and he had no idea who they were. I had to tell this man that I was the IT dude in Houston and all of that other business about blah, blah, blah.

I wish I could've taken a picture but he had to leave. He did have a show here at the Toyota Center, though.

Floss and Friends

I attended a concert last Saturday hosted by Hollywood Floss, a HOUSTON artist I interviewed a while back when this blog was just starting up. Check for that interview here.
We've been in touch since then because the guy has a cool style on the mic
and has been making his rounds in this city.
Since he's been inviting me to his shows for a while, I went and checked out his show at the Cellar Bar and I was pleasantly pleased.
The show performers were Floss, Mic Skills, some other up and comers, and this white dude at the end.

Soul Phunk at the NBA2k9 Tour

Last weekend I attended the NBA2K9 Tour with The Knux, The Cool Kids, and headliner Q-Tip at Warehouse Live in Downtown HOUSTON.

I had to stop by and check out this gaming event for myself, though.

Did you ever recognize that there are more GameStop stores everywhere and hardly any music stores anymore? It's just an observation from my MTV Rock Band compliance work...

You best believe the concert was off the chain too!
But, did you know that Q-Tip was one of the first hip-hop artists to rap and sing (mostly) on an album while producing it all by himself? The only rap artist to do that successfully has been Andre 3000. That particular album for Q-Tip was Kamaal: The Abstract and it was never released due to some label thingamajigs and whatever else went on. That was in 2002. I know that Andre 3000 likes ATCQ, so maybe that's where he kind of got the idea to make The Love Below from.

Now, the year is 2008 and that show was great. Q-Tip didn’t do any Kamaal: The Abstract songs unfortunately, but he did do some from his new album. He even did some ATCQ (A Tribe Called Quest) cuts. I just thought I'd share some knowledge.

Here's a quote I found from Q-Tip about that subject:

“I am really disappointed that Kamaal wasn't released,” Q-Tip says. “LA Reid didn't know what to do with it; then, three years later, they release Outkast. What Outkast is doing now, those are the kinds of sounds that are on Kamaal the Abstract. Maybe even a little more out. Kamaal was just me, guerrilla.”

The Knux also performed and they did a good show. It was my second time seeing them in HOUSTON.

I’m not done yet though, ya’ll. That night, this chick bought me a drink because she saw me working on this blog post after the concert. That’s what’s up! She was saying something talking about, "Hey you. You shouldn't be working at 1:30am." I was just chilling and said something to the matter of, "It's just what I do. I have to make that money."

Then she was like, "Yeah, but it's 1:30 and you're in a bar." It was whatever at that point. I just took that drink and got the information after that.

You know what's up.

Come to think of it, I kind of promoted Q-Tip when I worked the campaign for The Wackness soundtrack. "Can I Kick It?" was featured on it.

Gas is Coming Down in HOUSTON
The last I paid for a gallon of gas was $2.02 and that's amazing to me. I could've sworn just one month ago it was $4.99/gallon. I even remember seeing a news story about how that price could become a way of life! That's just stupid.
I promise I wonder what this world is REALLY about most of the time! Do we as people just freak out for nothing, work for nothing, promise for nothing, or live for nothing? Whatever...
Anyway, I'm excited about low gas prices because I never thought I'd see the day. I still haven't been able to figure out why it was so damn expensive in the first place!
